Have you ever been using a theme, but the one thing lacking was a zoomer for your favorite program? It happens all the time!
Just when you get a theme customized the way you want it, but d'oh!, you are missing just one more icon!
Well, fret no more!
I am uploading my newest DesktopX zoomer animation Photoshop Action Script for all to use!
This will convert any 48x48 sized image into a zoomer-ready image!
Simple and easy to use:
Instructions: (a copy will be included in the download also)
I would recommend using Icon2Any [link] to convert your icon file of choice to a Photoshop PSD.
This is a wonderful tool, especially when wanting to convert an entire set of icons.
Icon2Any Instructions:
After selecting which files or folders to convert, click Next.
Uncheck all file type options, and only check PSD - Adobe Photoshop.
Input your destination directory.
Put a check mark in the Resolution filter box.
Click the Resolution Filter button to set options.
Check only 48x48 under size.
Check only True Color (32 bits) under Color Depth.
Click OK.
These setting will remain for the next time you use the program, so that is helpful.
Click Next, and Poof! you now have 48x48 sized PSD files for the next set.
Photoshop Instructions:
Import the Action file.
Load Photoshop.
Click on the Actions Tab.
Click the Options arrow.
Click Load Actions...
And browse to where you unzipped the downloaded file.
This will add a folder labeled "Zoomers" to your actions.
There is only one script in this folder, so that's the one!
You may want go to Action Properties... and set a shortcut key, especially if you plan to do more than a few.
Load your PSDs that you converted. You can load multiples at one time.
Run the script! This will go through the process, close the extra files, and open a box for you to give your file a name.
Once the script runs, close the file you just did, and move on to the next!
Easy, eh?
Once you have your images created, load DesktopX and import the Sample zoomer.
Right click on the Sample Zoomer, and click Properties.
Select the States Tab.
Click on Mouse Away, and the "Appearance" tab at the bottom.
Browse to your newly created image that you made.
Repeat for the Mouse Over state.
Click on the "Summary" tab at the top.
and Change the Object ID to your own icon name.
Click OK to exit out of the properties screen.
Right Click and select Export.... to save your new creation!
**** Important ****
If you use this script to convert someone else's icons, you MUST have their permission first before you upload them.
Second, if you do convert a set of icons, or create your own based on this script, I would appreciate a mention.
Third, if you do upload a set of zoomers based on this, I would appreciate you dropping me a link. I will be releasing several DX themes that will make heavy use of these zoomers, so if you link me, I can include it on the main download page!

P.S. Icons shown in the preview are by ~Rokey and *mattahan.
I've converted icons by ~Rokey and obtained permission for release.

Well, hopefully the idea is for people to obtain permission and upload what they have converted. Save everyone a little bit of work. But this does work great for creating stuff just for your own use, too. Enjoy!
Below we have compiled a list of 101 tips to help you improve your photography. You may know some of them already but were confident that you'll find at least a few gems in there! Go get yourself a cup of coffee and make sure you are sitting comfortably!
